"Drone alone"

Films: The Drone (2019)

Alias: The Violator

Type: Mystical

Location: Civilized Area

Height/Weight: That of an average drone.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: Possessed cars are a fine example of what happens when our best conveniences become our worst enemies. But in this modern day, what's scarier than an armed drone? Their very existence speaks volumes of how detached America's defense system wants to be from boundless murder. Now imagine one that cut loose in a household...

History: Just as he was about to be gunned down by the cops, a serial killer known as the Violator was struck by lightning as he was holding a camera drone. What the people didn’t know was that the strike had enabled his soul to enter the drone. Now, after being bought by a regular family, he has full control over whatever tech they surround themselves with, and he'll stop at nothing to improve upon his already imposing arsenal to kill them all.

Notable Kills: Violates a man's ass, and slices off two heads at once.

Final Fate: After the drone is destroyed, its CPU puts the Violator's soul in command of a man's body. The rampage is only halted when the man is tossed off a balcony and onto a pole, impaling him. For the moment, the Violator's killing spree is at an end.

Powers/Abilities: The drone has razor-sharp rotor blades for flying, and it can control whatever technology it is around at the time. Everything from home security to cars can be manipulated by it. It can also upgrade itself to have even more firepower. And if the drone is destroyed, the CPU can still infect people with the Violator's soul.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 3-Admittingly, all you would need is a perfectly-timed swing with a baseball bat to destroy this awful machine. However, should you not have anything, you will die at the hands of this glorified piece of military equipment. It having a serial killer's soul within is already a creepy thought, but once it starts shooting at people, you will know why these things have been at the heart of modern war crimes.

Trivia: -The Violator was played by Neil Sandilands, who has stated in a number of TV series, such as "The 100" and "The Flash".

-Drones have been the subject of debate for some number of years. The biggest concerns about them include privacy issues, hackers, and those times where idiots actually put weapons on them to carry out assassinations. Oh, and there are drones as big as airplanes that drop bombs too. Not exactly the kind of thing you'd expect a rational government to make, but here we are.
